How far in advance should I book?
Popular routes fill 4-6 months ahead, especially July and August departures. Spring and fall dates offer more flexibility. We maintain a waitlist for sold-out trips.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations 60+ days before departure receive full refund minus administrative fee. Within 60 days, refunds depend on whether we can fill your spot from waitlist. See full policy in Terms of Use.
Do you offer private group bookings?
Yes, for groups of 4-6 people. Private trips allow custom date selection and minor route modifications. Pricing matches standard rates with added scheduling flexibility.
What fitness level is required?
Varies by route. "Easy to Moderate" trips suit anyone who walks regularly. "Moderate" requires comfort with 10+ kilometer days and uneven terrain. "Advanced" assumes experience with multi-day backpacking and significant elevation gain. Contact us if uncertain about your fitness match.
What gear do I need to provide?
Personal items: boots, clothing layers, sleeping bag, backpack. We supply: tents, cooking equipment, group safety gear, food. Detailed packing lists sent upon booking confirmation.
Are solo travelers welcome?
Absolutely. Roughly 40% of participants join solo. Small group size makes integration natural. We don't charge single supplements.
